Utan Paradise

Last sunday I and bunch of frens went to this new place called Utan Paradise. It is located next to Crocker Range at Ulu Kimanis..Even though the facilities are still very basic but since the owner is our fren, so we r free to do whateva we want..Its like our own new hse with no rules attached!!hahaha..Anyway, the reason we overnite at Utan Paradise is because we r celebrating one of our fren's ??th birthday..we did some simple BBQ dinner(sirloin steak, grilled chicken thigh, grilled tuna n grilled lamb shoulder)...i baked a cake (at first i tot they dun like the cake but it turned out they all love it..macam makan kek yg baru bukak dari plastic kenon!!hehehe)...some pasta dish, dipping sauce, baked eggplant sambal dipping, corn on cob to name a few..Sham n Dawi prepare all the food..for the first time i just sat down n didnt do any of the cooking..hehehe..kacau2 seja..siok oo..and as usual i always forget to take a picture of the foods..kami semua tebarus kasi habis!!hahahha...below are some of the pics that i took wit my camera phone..any inconvenience while looking at the pic is highly regretted...heheheh 2megapixels ja ba..what do u expect??

Di atas tu view dr belakang resort tu,bawah kanan tu tmpt makan n masak, bawah kiri plak small hut utk tmpt tidur bg mereka yg inginkan privacy.

kiri, dlm tu buli muat dua urg gemuk mcm aku utk tdur dengan selesa atas tilam angin (nyesal aku nda tidur sana malam tu). kanan, double decker yg berkelambu..tmpt ni sejuuuuuuuk..so nda payah aircond or kipas.kebetulan plak masa ni hujan ja...so lagi la sejuk!!best best best!!

atas,dr kiri gideon,ayee,ambrose n clement..ambrose n clement la yg bukak resort ni..bawah, max n gideon bersedia sblm mandi sungai..haha

On our way back home, we stopped at the Sungai Kinolosudon for a quick mandi sungaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!yay!yay!..very cold n the current is quite strong due to rainy days the day before.thank god the water is not too cloudy.

If any of u interested to experience what we had at Utan Paradise jus drop me a line, i will let u know the person u should contact or website that u should visit cuz at the moment i dun have any of the information yet..hehehhe..i highly recommend this place for those who love jungle tracking and outdoors activities. Obviously its not like 5stars resort but still its so cozy yet comfortable place to spend on weekends after hectic time at work.Its a conservation place, so make sure u obey the rules okay. Until we meet agian..daaaaaaaaa!!!

It Is In Forgiving That We Are Frogiven

Started with Sepet i have not stop digging Yasmin Ahmad's movies. To me she really brought up new level to Malaysian movie in the eyes of the world. Every movie she produced reflects the real scenario happen here in Malaysia n she presented it very well. Im so proud of her and her movies. Among all her movies, my fav one is Gubra..the title itself very catchy..and the story line is marvellous..believe it or not, i've seen it 10times!! and my fav script is when Temah wanted to learn Quran from Mas. She asked Mas how much is the fee and then Mas answered ..'Eh apa ni? tak belajar lagi dah tanya pasal bayaran..belajar dulu, kalau ada?....bayar, kalau tak da?....tak pe..' and the way Mas express it very soothing..sejukkkkkkkkkk hati aku dengar..hehe

We Are Surgeons!!!We Cut Out Malignancies!!

Surgeon, used to be my childhood dreams..at that time when grown up ask me what is my ambition, i always answer i wanna be a doctor...and when i grew few years older, i managed to tell them the exact type of doctor i wanna be..A Surgeon..Most of them give me positive reaction yet some of them still try to scare me with those pathetic ghost story which if the patient die in my hand they will haunt me forever..spooooooooky huh!!!

People always see a doctor as a very high level career, will give u big bucks, will look so nice with the stethoscope hanging on the neck while wearing doctor's coat and so on and on..ya i always dream to wear that officially but i jus didnt try hard enough to be in that position. End up as a 'surgeon' too, in butchery...instead of making incision in the center of the surface of the artery, i debone a whole dead chicken and rolled it in butcher net and filled it with desired filling and oven baked to perfection..hehehehe...surgeons use surgical knife to do the incision whereas i use paring knife or deboning knife to debone the chicken..quite the same huh..to all surgeons whom by mistake reading this post, dun get me wrong okay, i dun mean to put our career at the same level, its just a statement that will make me a bit happy after i failed to achieve my very own goal in my life..

Nevertheless, it does not make me regret nor feel down graded to what i achieve now. I am happy and proud of myself, whateva mistakes that i did in the past made me to who i am now..wonder why am i saying all these??...GREY'S ANATOMY is back!!!SEASON 5 yung!!!Ive been waiting this series since ages!!hahaha..believe it or not, apart from learning some medical terminologies from this series, i also learn how to see life in different angle and think from a different perspective and most of all learn how to appreciate people around you may it be your families, friends, your partner or the one who hates u..i may sound a bit emotional, but there is no wrong to feel it and experience it as long as u know how to control the emotion.

Well i dont wanna talk much bout how the stories goes in Grey's Anatomy Season 5 rite now, cuz i hate people who love to spilled the beans. If u wanna know it, watch it urself by downloading it from torrent or have to wait till next year for it to be on air on StarWorld Astro. U choose what u want!! I cant hardly wait for the seeders to upload the latest episode..CIAOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Sumbui2 vs Lemang

Sumbui2??? klu urg2 semenanjung (jomo pleyak) mesti nda pernah dengar nama tu kan..sumbui2,kelupis n lamban versi Ketupat Lemang bagi org2 Sabah yg merayakan hari raya..Klu d smenanjung ketupat yg selalu dihidang d pagi raya ialah ketupat nasi, tp kami di sini ketupat pulut. Adapun itu dua ja la yg beza..yg lain hampir2 sama jugak..rendang tu sudah pasti ada la.nasi himpit ekspress bersama kuah kacang pun agak femes jugak sini. Biskut2 plak ikut citarasa masing2 dan yg paling femes kuih makmur dan tart nenas.(klu non muslim yg dtg beraya, kuih makmur la yg paling drg cari2)

Punbegitu dlm family aku, ada satu lagi hidangan yg agak exotic yg kami serve masa raya ja..Pulut yg dkukus dlm sumbui2 (periuk kera)..sounds bizarre kan?? ada beberapa kwn yg dtg beraya nda berani makan..takut keracunan kenon!!pal&* betul..tahun2 kami makan benda tu nda pun apa2..mimang nda pernah lagi aku jumpa org hidang sumbui2 ni time raya,tp klu di ruma kami mimang wajib tu..kami akan pi bongawan (cuz dsana ja tmpt yg kami tau ada sumbui2 tumbuh meliar) pi petik sumbui2 tu dua hari sebelum raya..smpi rumah, mama aku akan cucui bersih luar dalam, dan gunting upper part sumbui2 tu...masukkan beras pulut yg sudah dicuci 3/4 sumbui2 tu dan tuang santan yg di campur sedikit garam..kukus smpi masak..agak2 30-45 minit jugak la..nah kamu tatap la pic2 dbawah ni k..

Ini lah rupa sumbui2 tu, yg upper part tu kan mmg berlemak mcm upper part lemang juga...my fav!!!yum yum yum

Pic lamban nda da cuz kami jarang serve lamban time raya..tp klu rumah org bajau yg lain ada tu..espcly di petagas, kawang, tuaran dan kota belud. Time raya ni jugak, kami adik beradik masing2 tunjuk skill sepa yg paling cepat anyam ketupat. 9org adik beradik, semua terror anyam ketupat. dlm masa kami compete tu kan secara nda langusng teranyam la daun kelapa tu dan mama aku pun happy cuz dia nda payah anyam sudah..so agak2 kamu sepa yg paling laju menganyam ketupat???makde jawab!!!!!!!!!!!hehehehehe

Kemas Mengemas

Selalu orang cakap bab kemas mengemas ni biar org dendo (perempuan) ja yg buat..tp cemana klu dlm family tu adik beradik lelaki yg ramai, pastu yg perempuan sibuk melayan kerenah laki n anak2 plak?? itu yg berlaku dlm family aku..kami adik beradik mimang ramai lelaki..so bab kemas mengemas ni kami terpaksa bertolak ansur..seperti raya2 sebelum ni, aku, abg2 dan anak2 buah yg free pi la kemas rumah..maid kami hanya keja waktu siang dan waktu ni dia tgh cuti raya..mau atau tidak kami kena buat jugak la kan.

Klu tahun2 sblm ni, acara mengemas hanya pada saat akhir malam takbir, tp tahun ni awal sikit..kami siap mengemas kul 12 tgh mlm..hehehe

Mcm rumah smua org jugak la, stiap rumah terbahagi kepada beberapa bhgn iaitu ruang tamu, dapur, bilik tidur to name a few. Rumah bapak aku ni pun sama juga, tp aku hanya akan post pic main living room ja la..kebetulan ada sofa baru dan di sana ja yg berabis kami kasi lawa.hehehe (makde show off living room ruma dia, aku pun ikut jugak la..hahaha)..sebarang komen yg membina amat lah di hargai!!!KUNUN!!!!!!!!! (khencang!!phalling!!!agak2 la bah!!)

Inilah pandangan ruang tamu rumah dr pintu utama. (teka mana satu sofa baru?mmm ada kawan aku beli sofa baru juga, warna yg sama lagi tu..hmm interesting!!)

Selalu coffee table ni ada centerpiece (usually simple flower arrangement), tp tahun ni aku decide mau biar kosong supaya kalau hidang cookies n drinks utk tamu nda perlu la kasi lari lagi tu bunga.

inilah sofa baru tu..hehehe..kalau ada yg antara kamu tepat tekaannya..sila collect hadiah sama aku berupa 'ucapan terima kasih yg kena tulis atas surat khabar lama pastu sisip dlm angpow merah' heheheheh...

Empat Segi???

Time final week posa aritu kami 3 jejaka pingitan plan sungkai di promenade, tp kwn ku sorang tu tlupa buat reservation awal..jd melepas la buka posa sana tahun ni..Buffet Sungkai Promenade by far bg aku adalah yg paling worthy utk di serang berbanding buffet2 dr hotel lain..the price is quite affordable yet the selection of foods are very wide..puas hati la makan..Pun begitu, as i said earlier, kempunan kami sungkai sana n we end up having sungkai at The Square, Novotel, 1Borneo.(1borneo lagi kan..huhuhuh..bnyk peristiwa gumbira sini..hahaha)

Mula2 agak ragu2 juga la mau sungkai sana..mimang la kami aware yg novotel tu quite luxurious hotel, tp kami ingat dorang nda berapa concentrate on da cuisine..sekali kami masuk restaurant dia..wow!!!!kuar2 lif ja, trus impressed kami bah (ko tau la bah urg kampung,sakai tinguk modern design hehehehe)..mmg inviting btul n restaurant punya layout n interior design pun very up to date..nah kamu tinguk sendiri la aa..

Appetizer buffet line. The very first part yg aku akan round!!!Mau tinguk apa yg paling mahal drg buli offer kan.No fresh crustacean mcm di shang la, tp ada smoked salmon or mackerel pun sudah memadai.

Klu aku makan buffet, appetizer la jadi gilaan aku..hahaha..yum2

Turkey ham with cheese filling, coral lettuce, rocket salad and alfalfa sprout..pastu sblm makan drizzle with some olive oil and crsuhed black pepper..HEAVEN!!!!

Setting buffet line rest ni mmg cantik, cuma aku ja nda pandai snap good shot.

Selain dr tu, yg aku suka lg pasal buffet sini..every dish drg present in a small portion or one bite size from appetizers to desserts..main course pun drg letak dlm small cute wooden pot with lid..(mampos la org kitchen refill..haha)..its like having a big cocktail event that serve variety selection of hors d'oeuvre..mungkin this type of buffet line is in nowadays, or maybe im way too late to notice the changes!!hehehe

We can also request 5 types of quite expensive a la carte dish(best kan kan kan)..dorang buat display di counter and we just point at it and they will cook it a la minute for us..ada beef tenderloin with jus and scallop potato (fav kami 3), grilled salmon steak with accompaniments (not bad but not good enuf), grilled lamb cutlet with acc (nda sempat try cuz im bloated), panfried scallop with acc (with sambal sauce..mmm bad combination) and fettucini carbonara (aku nda try cuz buli buat sendiri drumah..hehehe)...too bad i forgot to take photo of all the dishes we ate..ya la, tebarus sudah kan..trus momom ja...nda sudah ingat lain..

We end the sungkai event at around 8ish..pastu mcm besa pi round2 1borneo..i bought 2pcs 50% discount Quicksilver's thsirt..itu la baju raya aku..raya tahun ni mimang sibuk la ba..nda da masa shopping2 baju raya..biskut pun berapa jenis ja sempat buat..tp alhamdulillah cukup juga stock utk seminggu raya..

Oh ya..klu kamu perasan rata2 bloggers ucap slamat hari raya n letak beberapa pic raya time raya aritu kan..aku ja yg nda buat gitu..so di kesempatan ini...ArnabGumuk ingin menyusun 10 jari ke atas mereka yg berkenaan dia atas keterlanjuran kata dan gerak laku selama mengenali aku...AMPUN MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN buat semua!!!

Alalalalalala punya tensen aku sma pc aku ni..buli2 bila aku on, hard drive cannot be detected..bikin panas..di campur lagi dgn kesibukan raya (matai aku se'...eko bana jomo teko kali tu..opok pangkat!!hahaha) blog ku ini hampir2 bersawang (bak kata kwn kita si shah tu)huhuhuhuh

Apa2 pun, post kali ni ialah kesinambungan post dibawah..masih berkisar ttg anak didikku..bnyk tul pic yg durang snap..so aku pun dng besar hati ingin berkongsi suka duka kami semasa menjalankan practical kitchen class bulan posa yg lepas..selamat menjamu mata..kalau nda sedap diam2 ja aa..hehehe

hanya tinggal kenangan..utk group ni ada satu urg ja lelaki.best jugak la kena kerumun aweks2 yg muda remaja ni..tp klu smpi bab2 keja2 berat skit tpksa juga aku tulung.hmmmmmm

ini la keja kami masa final class tu..tukang snap cakap buat muka2 kiut kenon..apa lagi kami berabis la pose..masalahnya skrg cute kah??biut ada la..hahahahhaha

nah nah nah..ko tinguk gaya si tam tu..ada ka cigu dia pun dia mau tumbuk..bertuah punya anak murid..tp, budak ni mmg dngr cakap n hormat aku la tapi tetap jugak nakal

kampung2 kan bie? tapi tetap jugak maintain.hahahaha
